So, what's the favored oil for our cars these days?
I personally use Rotella T6 full synthetic and a Purolator filter. Everyone will have their oil of choice, but that's mine.
For every three who post you are likely to get 5 opinions. That is partially legit, since vastly different operating scenarios really do require different oils. That said, I personally use AmsOil 20W50 racing oil. I consider Rotella the next option.

I used Castrol GTX 10w-40 with good results from multiple oil analyses on my old 3S.
Rotella is good. I use Brad Pen personally.
Any good oil changed regularly will be fine.
