I'm still getting a cel running my flashed 98 SL ECU. Is there a way to fix that without clearing it every time? I know it was brought up before but I don't remember what was said about it. I was running a 92 ECU at the time.

On my 99 VR4 ECU I disabled the extra non-existant O2 sensors and some other emission related OBD2 checks because they don't exist on my 93 car. If you want, I could send you a copy of my ECU flash.

If anyone drives a 1989 - 2000 Nissan, my Nissan Consult version is nearly complete. I'm just adding datalogging capability into it now.

When you did that did the front and rear bank trims start acting as only one bank?

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the post cat sensors that his car doesn't have... A 93 still has two primary sensors.

Yup that's correct. My fuel trims worked independently as it should. A few days later my O2 sensor died of old age (19 years), so then I disabled all O2 sensors with fuel trims all locked at 100.

Interesting... What are your perifs set at? I was playing with turning off the post cat o2s and my fuel banks would stop working independently.

My System says:

MUT 000000
Then
MUT 2 00000
Then
Failed to connect

My screen is receiving NO information.

Nothing from boost, nothing from the ECU.

I have checked all of my connections with no go.

Did I miss something?

Do I have a bad OBD2 cable??

Okay, it is behaving the exact same way whether it is plugged in or not.

I'm just going to un install the boost portion and leave it all off. Why didn't I do this WEEKS ago instead of waiting until the day before!

I think I probably just have a bad OBD cable. Simple fix, but I don't have the time.

Please post up if there is anything else I can try. THough it wont be until next week since I'm just going to disconnect a lot of it right now.
