I dont want to really start an argument, but I disagree with this. There's smart, and then there's computer smart. While I'm no scholar and I can navigate my way round a PC (albeit barely) every PC I've owned has started fast with no virus's, but eventually slows right down with an occassional virus or trojan or some shit. Now, I've had my iMac for almost 10 months, it's just as fast as day one (minus maybe a minor delay with all the video & pics I've put in) and the only problems I've had was one instance of malware, and a start up problem which was easily fixed after a call to the Apple care center. Now since I dont know how to work on my pc/Mac as I'm not into IT, that makes my Mac better than any PC I've used. Is my Mac better than a comparable PC? I dont know, probably not. I lack the knowledge and experience to offer an opinion there. But for me, this Mac I have now has been more reliable than all the other pc's I've owned and the same goes for my partners pc history.

Man the HTC Titan is looking sweet... Nokia is about to drop their Windows Phones.

Think im going to have to wait for one to see how it goes...

I reboot my Windows 7 laptop only just for patches normally. SSD drives have no problem rebooting

IMO, if you can't handle installing a free virus scanner or running the occasional defrag on your computer then by all means buy overpriced equipment.

As long as you understand that your a free virus scanner(defrag is built into windows now) away from having a more widely supported OS and better hardware. I understand not everybody cares about Price/Performance, but it is a big consideration that goes into anything that I buy.

For those of you that say it's impossible to create a "unique" looking phone, but don't buy into the argument that there are hundreds of black, touchscreen, rectangular handsets that aren't being sued (which is very true), you might find this article particularly interesting:

Pretty much an admission of guilt, or implying that they didn't take patents very seriously before the lawsuits.

I was running AVG for years. It didn't stop my pc from slowing down. But then again, it was probably something else causing that.
