    - 2fnloud - there are very big gains to be had from the AEM alone if you, or someone you know can properly tune it. It is a very great tool to have. You can also shed a few pounds from all the crap you dont need once its installed.
That is the biggest reason I haven't tried to install this yet. I know of no one in MI that is a reputable tuner. I suppose if push came to shove (ECU fries) I would study hard and ask lots of questions.

I have the series 2 and the Twin fire 4 channel. Plan on adding AEM: Meth, UEGO wideband, One serial gauge, True Boost, Oil pressure, Water temp, and upgreade the OEM sensors to AEM sensors as well while I am at it.

True, but if I can indeed unlock 50HP give or take why sit on all this stuff for 5 years.

well it's 4.5 hours to IPS from your locale. that's pretty fair. i was 8 hours from 3sx when i had my tt swap done at 3sx.

i don't know that i'd stop at just 9b's if i went to the trouble of AEM. the cost/value doesn't quite match up for me. sure, you can get a LOT more from 9b's with AEM...but the cost is SUBSTANTIAL. an MBC and an SAFC with upgraded turbos will likely be quicker/easier to get more power--for the same cost. 13g/t's & the old-style dr 650's aren't that expensive--especially used.

I have no intention of stopping ay 9b's thinking Billet DR700 (shooting for 500AWHP)

Oh and I own the EMS series 2 already along with the twin fire 4 channel.

Does EMS allow for global injector sizing or something of that sort? If thats the case it would be easier to play with and learn while on stock injectors, and the ability to plug your stock right back in if you need to drive the car is nice.

Oh and nice numbers Ray. Its nice to see a car with any turbo's tuned to its potential.

yeah, i think in all the time i've been around the forum, i've only seen 3-4 td04 cars really tuned to max out the turbos. austins with 9b's, dale's with 19t's, and vr3.9's with 13t's are all that come to mind. possibly matt m's dr750's on the 3.5--which showed how they were gassing at that displacement.

At what point do the 9bs stop effectively pushing air? I know they say the stock fuel system will only handle about 14psi but with a computer, fuel system upgrades and injectors how far could I push the 9bs? I plan to eventually go to DR700/DR750 but for now I am stuck with the 9bs?

    UPDATE:

I was able to rotate the intake clamp around on my front turbo and found the following numbers:
49177-00320....All the numbers but the "2" was raised the "2" was stamped into the housing.

    I have 13Gs!!!!

nice. btw, XPA is in michigan. you might try seeing if they can help you getting your car tuned/built. *edit* according to google maps, it's 106 miles and 1:47 from your town to theirs. that's not bad at all.

afaik, austin @ STM has the 9b record. i think that permanent grin or someone else in the UK has tried to make a claim to the full-weight 9b 1/4 record; but austin has the world-record on 9b's; both in the 1/4 and on the dyno (iirc).

Than I knew about XPA, I just don't think that they tune AEM EMS.
