    Okay.

Confirm this for me then, perhaps I've never quite put it together correctly:

    1. TDO4/TDO4HL castings are precisely the same, regardless of the turbine?

    2. The turbine in the HL, if correct to the housing, would be a 13T, but...

    3. It is more likely that the turbine actually residing in my TD04HL housing is that of a 13G, as the housing is probably a re-fitted DSM?
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

The compressor housing has no effect on the turbine wheel. Some of the DSM 13G housings were stamped TD04, some Td04HL, that doesn't mean it doesn't have a TD04 turbine in it.

The only way to know 100% for sure is to measure the turbine by pulling off exhaust housing and just checking the exducer measurement or let the turbo shop handle it. If you do have DSM housings (2 bolt intercooler outlet instead of stock type then they are most likely attached to stock turbine housings using the TD04 turbine.

    Well done, then.

I'll chase the dimensions - oh, they're linked on Lucius' site, eh?

I'll give it the stick over the weekend.

    Thanks for the pointers, guy.

Question. The 15g rebuild price... Is that per turbo or per pair? I think I have a bad turbo again but if it's 450 per pair I'll end up pulling both and run 9b's till I get them back. 450 is better than trying to find money for DR-16Ts..

Please PM me or email me at ghettoburger24@gmail.com..

Guess I'll find out what it's like to pull 9b's off my RT TT and swap em to my VR4...
