For Tom to say it's worth it is saying a lot when you consider it's probably going to cost him near $1000 in gas alone to drive out and back from San Diego. Not to mention it will be close to 30 hours driving each way. Props to you Tom I may go but if I do it will be by airline.

Yes...definitely worth it and the drive isn't that bad and I think I'd have about an hour longer drive than you would.

If you're in let me know and we can meet up around Erie. I'll be trailering but as long as you don't mind it's always good to cruise with someone else.

Yo, 93STLTH, when are you going through? If you pass through STL, you could link up with us and caravan to indy.

    also true....

This year you get a historic parade lap at the brickyard on top of the standard fan fare. If you can make it you should make it.

I will be passing through St. Louis, but it's hard to predict when. I tried to hook up with the Texas people in '09, but I was too far behind on Tuesday to catch up. My plan is to leave on Sunday, drive through to somewhere between Grant, NM and Albuquerque, then try to make it to Tulsa by the end of Monday. I doubt I'll hit St. Louis before 3 or 4 in the afternoon on Tuesday.

Is there a formal carpool or anything? I plan on leaving Tuesday at noon, getting there around noon the next day. I'm coming from the Boston area. It'd be cool to have some other 3Ss to break up the monotony on the long drive.

Absolutely worth every second of drive time and penny of registration. I haven't been since 07(damn didn't realize it had been that long), but have always had an awesome time every time I've went. If you can go, GO!
