But they have been at this for a while now. They didnt just jump in a 3/s and break records first time out.
Our shop car will be pushing upwards of 900AWHP but for me to be able to get close to one of Matt's passes I will have to weld my front end to his bumper

If you want to do what they have done then its going to take a lot of time and commitment in tuning, engine building and track time. But this is almost a waist of time because if you were to atleast match one of their records, They will turn right back around and set a new one.

I would suggest not to compare yourself to anyone. Build your beast they way you want it. If you truly want to get into the 10's you will get there. If you post up a "challenge like thread" people will jump all over you not because they are gods but because they are very respected in this platform for their commitment in pushing the platform to new levels and inspiring people like your self to push the platform.

With that said I would like to add that the car to keep an eye out for in my opinion is STM's I have a feeling that they will be making some headlines
I just want to reiterate, I am not trying to "disrespect them at all".....and Ray, "Smite me almighty Smitor!!!" lol

Uh... anyone who knows how to launch without bogging these cars is rewarded with a pretty damn good 60', compared to most 2WD cars on comparable tires. As far as traction goes, we've got it in spades.

Launching without bogging is difficult because they're so heavy, but nail the launch and it's sooo worth it, haha.

see, now this is exactly the shit I'd expect to ensu from someone who lives in NEWCASTLE...(origional thread, origional poster)

    from the third thread:

    it's hard to explain...

Everyone over the age of 20 with any intention of getting anywhere or anything done moves OUT of newcastle.

so I know it's mean...but expecting a guy from newcastle to put down his beer and weed for long enough to do ANYTHING with his car is .....well...it just does not make sense.

I don`t think consistant 1.7 to 1.8 60 ft times on a heavy car with road tyres is bad at all, they launch very well (5500 rmp for me).
