No I wouldn't count QTP's as street tires either, but that would explain the 1.4's. I thought he drove to the track, ran those times, and drove home again, no changes at all. Im sure he'll chime in and give an answer when he sees this.

Yes I drove to the track everytime, and drove home, sometimes i drove there on the slicks other times i just drove there on street tires, with a jack and slicks in the car.

Anyways worked on the car a bit more tonight. Engine bay is almost completely stripped, engine harness is out of the car.

Tomorrow i want to get the gas tank out, and start working on ideas for the cell, and fuel system.

    More to come soon

Got in early this morning and took out some more stuff, and cleaned and organized all the parts.

Its pretty cool when you can fit most of your engine bay into a couple little boxes.

Also got the gas tank out and weighed.

Fuel Tank = 36 pounds empty
1/4+ tank of gas = 50+ pounds at the track

Hoping for the new cell+gas to weigh 20lbs at the track.

So much room to work with. I cant wait to see the bottom of the cell with the pumps and fittings hanging just below the bumper. I love the way that looks.

I dont even know how its gonna turn out yet but im really excited and i think its gonna be pretty sick.
