    Wow, impressed.

I think halting that daily driver duty would be a good idea. I wonder how the strength of the unibody is compromised by removing the second layer of floorboards/tunnel. Perhaps it's minimal, I don't know. But I've got to believe a wreck wouldn't be any kinder on your body.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

you can save a couple of pounds by hacking off the rear bumper corner mounts. they're not necessary. i don't have any on my car currently...so maybe you'd like to send me yours?

What piece are you talking about?

Amphiron - We will see how money is come spring time. My first things will just be to get the engine bay painted and back together and get the turbo/turbos on and running so i can drive the car. Then if i have money for a driveshaft and brakes i will do those things.

TonyM - I am not worried about the structure at all. Dont forget the car will be getting a roll cage so it will be pretty solid, i am deff driving the hell out of it this year. I think its goinna be a very fun car this year.

Thanks for the reminder - the cage will certainly make more rigid than it was before.

Good luck, I'm interested to see all the weight you're going to lipo off that thing.

precisely what it sounds like. the rear bumper mounts at the corners. these are situated directly beneath the r/t lights. they are specific to the r/t rears, 3kgt's have a different height piece welded on there--due to the different bumper height. these corner pieces are not necessary for mounting the rear bumper, as the center piece has more than enough bolts to hold the bumper securely in place.

Ok, thats what i thought you meant but wasnt sure. I will be removing those and modifying the long center one as well.

If you do want them they are all yours as long as they come off nicely. Just pay for shipping.
