    i drove my 93 3kgt to my moms for some family time. correction, i drove my 93 3kgt (without any problems).... :-D

    hasnt stalled since i swapped the ECU out. sometimes it still takes a few extra seconds for the idle to even out when in neutral. still drives great otherwise.

    Skinned my FG hood in Carbonfiber. I think for being the first time I work with CF it turned out pretty good. Hardest part was folding the CF around the edges. And it was messy, epoxy everywhere...
    Next step to put on clearcoat. Will leave that to a professional though.

    btw. does it need to be some kind of special clearcoat? I know epoxy is sensitive to UV.

    I think there is a special clearcoat with UV protection in it that you can buy.

    I got my Active Exhaust from my 94 parts car installed on my car. I love how quiet it is closed and how loud it gets when it is open. On an N/a with the TT cat still it sounds amazing with the valve open. Closed it can actually get around without making much noise. Ive been working with Levi on a wiring circuit to run the motor. It is a lot more complex than I thought as the AE motor doesn't use limiting switches, but a potentiometer. Hopefully we can find a good solution. I could just run my Reverse polarity switch to it and limit its operation manually, but I really want something that will kill the power to the motor when it is open and closed. We shall see. Ill get a video of the sound when I get the motor installed and worked out.

    Got the engine installed, fmoc installed and routed while still retaining the air dam to direct air to it.

    Parts fairy delivered some goodies at my house while I was at work. Got some 45W HB3 LED bulbs, Eastwood Digital Tq wrench, and a new mirror




    came with the wiring harness pigtail, temp sensor, and temp sensor pigtail all for $50. Looks sooo much better and has auto-dimming. The LED bulbs are also amazing. Way brighter than my 55W HID low beams. My camera on my phone doesn't take good night pics but for $60 the LEDs are worth it.

    Is that the 3/8" torque wrench? I really love my 1/2" brownline wrench, but its really big for a lot of areas.
