I did not watch Saturdays UM game as I was waiting for Lori to get home to watch it. (she had an event at her store) I am not going to waste my time watching another UM game until they prove they can win against a ranked team. I do not expect that I will watch another game this season.

It's the SEC, Pac-12, and then everyone else. Big Fourteen is probably closer to Mid-American conference in terms of strength. It's pretty hilarious.

Seriously, I'm reveling in this quite a bit considering how many Big Fourteen fans run their mouth about their conference being underrated.

"Nu uh, SEC is crap! Play real teams."

We recognize real teams. It's why we don't play you.

Scheduling Iowa or Nebraska would have probably hurt out SOS more than scheduling San Jose State like we did.

that's why we took an extra buy week. looks better to practice in full pads. hell we should get a thank you card from anyone that wanted to play us this year but couldn't. we saved their boys from getting ran over all day saturday by Gurley and Chubb.

Yeah, we should have considered just playing our A team against B team, except put the B team in Ohio State jerseys. It's basically the same thing as playing San Jose State, except everyone gets more playing time!

At any rate, much as I love the SEC not sure it is the premier conference in the country this year. I think the Pac12 could make a strong case to be #1 for top to bottom strength. I do think PAC and SEC are pretty far ahead of the rest though.

In terms of top to bottom I would say the two are close... Don't forget, LSU almost lost to a DII team... Oh wait, that was Wisconsin. And Oregon was down 28-17 deep into the 3rd quarter to one of those mid major B1G schools too.

In all seriousness I think the PAC-12 is slightly ahead mostly because they have a lot more proven leadership from their QBs. And yes, I agree the whole B1G is a dumpster fire at this point (except maybe Minnesota and Penn State, but only because they aren't as a big a dumpster fire as they were supposed to be).

Also, I guess I could add Penn State to my short list of B1G teams that could go undefeated (still highly unlikely) and miss the playoff now that they are actually eligible.
