I dunno man, the lone working 24 year old left rear in my Daytona still sounds just as good, if not better, and has more depth than, a lot of modern aftermarket speakers; that I've heard at least.

They were cheaply constructed. I remember seeing mine when they came out & I put my TS-D's in. Paper/foam. It may have said "Infinity" on the speaker grille, etc...but it was crap.

Hmmm, maybe they are different after all...
Because my Daytona ones did not seem cheaply constructed. No paper and no foam.

    Anyway, kind of off topic.

You could get a 6 disc changer in the 1G base models. Buddy got a 93 (in late 92) that was essentially a SL, sans leather.

I got my 1st cd player, a 6 disc Pioneer in 89. I remember them really catching on in 88. So, yeah, plenty of people knew what cd's were and/or were interested in them when these cars started hitting the streets in 90.

Lou, if you looks at later gen base models you might have a good chance of finding them. I got my true black leather manual seats from a friend out of a 97 or 98 base.

Pretty sure it did. It was also green. Green was cool then.

If it had auto climate it was probably an SL with cloth interior.

It was definitely not an SL. He had to travel way down South to even find this car. It was the only 1 like it in the country at that time. Like I said, green was cool then.

Green was never cool. People were just a little confused back then.
