There are theft rings in some cities, also known as "Boosters".
They basically take shopping orders from people in the 'hood (like a shopping list), then go and steal stuff from the store. Also, there are a number of items that can be immediately sold in the 'hood for cash. These items include toiletries and electronics.
Pretty wild stuff, I know. My wife's store here in Indy was recently the victim to one of these crime rings. A group of women were showed up with empty bags, and left with bags stuffed with clothes. Turns out the women were part of a wanted 'Booster' group that had been operating for years!
