I used VHT spray paint and an electric sander to do mine, IIRC around 80 grit.

    Edit: Red caliper is red.

Put a new slave cylinder in the SL, and lubed and reassembled the TT's freshly painted shifter.

Finally got new tires on the car today. Also finally got some miles on the car after the build. Hit about 100 miles. Everything is still good! What I am extremely happy about is my ac still blows ice cold.

Also been soldering all the sensors to the pro efi main harness.

    Looked at it longingly.

Eventually I'll get some money in and can wrap up this rebuild.

Started dyeing the carpet today. Combining a couple of methods I found online. I'll post results on my R/T restoration thread, in about 2 weeks, when its done.

Reminds me of when I drove from Sweden to Norway last summer to buy a reinforced and rebuilt 6-speed from Taz.

Re-did the BOV from open atmo to recirculating so the engine doesn't bog and stall when revving up and letting off. RPMs drop smoothly and no more bogging. Idle tuned halfway decent now with the chromed ecu.
