Pretty sure that's the unofficial 3/S motto.
Either that or: If it ain't broke don't fix it, if it breaks it was time for an upgrade anyhow.

I got home and it took me a dip in the pool, ice cream, and a sonic milkshake 3 hours later before I was finaly cooled down... It had to have been in the mid/high 90's if not 100 in that garage... I about passed out on the creeper under it doing something... don't remember now....
As for the smoke, it didn't have the typical coolant/oil smell which made me think it could have possibly been some coating burning off or something with bill having his manifolds, turbine housings, 02 housings, and downpipe coated I am wondering if some parts got the interiors coated alittle bit with over spray or something.
Vaporizing oil smells & appears different than burning oil. When one of my 500's shit its pants, the fog effects from the pipes was real similar to your vid. I tested for the color & smell by placing a drop of oil onto a torch heated piece of steel (careful, can flame up as its vaporizing)....it has a distinct smell & color & I knew at that point what I would find in the downpipe-
Hope you get it sorted Bill-
If fueling is good, I still bet on Turbos. Remove downpipe and see if only one turbo is smoking when you start it. You could also undo vband to pull comp and center, leaving exh housing still connected to check for oil in housing.
What is your PCV setup? Extra pressure could cause oil to not drain out of turbos properly. I have mine vented with no issues. (Didn't trust small PVC valve to vent enough for big boost.)

I'd do a compression test too if you haven't already to rule out your fuel dumping glazing your cylinders and ruining your hone/rings.
It only ran maybe 5-8 minutes at idle, but will check the front 3 to see what we have.

crap, yeah that smoking is not normal at all. maybe it was mentioned, but just hold a cloth to a pipe and see if it gets oily.
