    Finally Got Another Z

After a long 4 day weekend involving flying out to Santa Fe, NM and driving the car back and whatnot, I finally found one that pushed the right buttons for the right price. Drove it back, and have already gotten to work getting it showroom fresh again, will tear it down to the valves and do some preventative maintenance, and either drop the trans to replace the rear main, or pull the engine to replace the half moon seal at the aft of the oil pan. Just basic maintenance that needs to be done, but a 9/10 car. She pulls hard, custom 17" OZ 245/front 275/back and even stock it breaks the 275's loose in first, I forgot how quick a stock TT car is. Happy to have one back, nice to have a fun AWD and a fun RWD car, definitely glad to have another Z after a several year hiatus.
Bought it from the 2nd owner of 15 years
    1990 300ZX Twin Turbo
    5 Speed
    112k Miles
    Platinum Mist Metallic
Even has the Radio Shack Car Phone! haha

Only pictures I have as-of-yet; My boxes from ZSpeed and Z1 are already showing up, very excited to give this car the proper attention it deserves.
I'll take some pictures of it with the VR-4 this weekend when I am wrenching.

Haha yep, I've been getting shit about VR-4's since my departure 7 years ago. Apparently, the 3000GT "drives and handles like an F-150, and is a huge piece of shit that is underpowered." I had one guy that wasn't familiar with my background in Z cars try to lay into me on a forum the other day. The 3000GT grilling began, and all I did was mention that I enjoy having both of them; it's funny, because I used to be that guy several years ago. Fuck the bandwagon bigotry.
