We really need to outlaw bombs, that would definitely have prevented this from happening.

Very sad for those who were killed and injured.

Thank God this didn't get worse:

The simultaneous explosions, and reports of two other unexploded devices found near the scene raised suspicions that the blasts, just before 3 p.m.

I'm definitely thankful things weren't worse and the other bombs didn't go off. Apparently there was a fire at JFK and the bomb squad was called for that as well so possibly something else there. Definitely a sad day for humanity.

it first broke on reddit. something happened at the jfk library, and i'm listening to the police scanner right now saying someone just left a military duffle bag at the ER and ran away.

Unsure, I don't know if there are any witnesses that could tell if they "looked scary" enough to be labeled "assault".

Really trying not to turn this into a political issue, my heart and prayers go out to the victims... but I am glad that whoever pulled this off didn't use rifles to gun people down.
