define "mental illness". in my book, religious zealotry qualifies. based on the type of attack, i'm inclined to believe takfiri are involved more than an escaped mental patient. synchronized attacks aren't really the work of 1 lone nutjob.

From the looks of the footage and injuries i've seen. It looks like the explosions was low to the ground and went outward, not upward. Looks to have taken the legs off a lot, but if it was chest level, the casualty count would have probably been much higher.

We really need to outlaw bombs, that would definitely have prevented this from happening.

Very sad for those who were killed and injured.

1st thing I thought when some dick on CNN was saying it was most likely an extreme right wing group or overseas terrorist depending on the bomb.

you know, what she did was bad enough. seeing her type-cast in "coming home" was enough to make me want to strangle her with my bare hands.

fast forward almost 40 years, and now we have an ex basketball pro doing the same thing.

Great job by the PD, Military, and other First Responders. Everyone seemed to move and work quickly and orderly. Did not look chaotic at all.
