OH! You gotta clear the codes with just the ignition on and the motor NOT running. Otherwise it don't work sometimes.

EVOScan has it's issues for sure, but it's the only program I've been able to find where I can edit it to log the parameters we need for the flashable ECUs. I'm not attached to it by any means. If someone wants to create a different program, I'm more than willing to assist.

DOH! I never saw that stated anywhere. Apparently the need for voltage only applies when using ECUFlash not EvoScan. Thanks for the clarification.

Oh, and I certainly wasn't knocking your work. I appreciate it very much and hope that you'll continue to stay with it and make improvements. Apparently EvoScan is the best (only?) program out there to do it. I'm just used to using HPTuners which has a lot more developed system. Then again it has a much higher cost. It also justifies someone spending a lot to develop it since it has such a big potential user/customer base.

So I have my AEM wideband 5v wired to a serial to USB converter so I can log through EvoScan. EvoScan will connect with the ecu and start logging but the wideband stops after a few seconds after connection and just pegs it's last reading. The gauge is working fine, for some reason EvoScan just quits logging it right after connecting. I never had this problem using my 97 ecu and my 1.3 cable with EvoScan. I would like to log this way and keep my ecu splice free for now. I have tried all differnet com perts on the laptop and it doesnt change. Anyone have any suggestions? I need to be able to log wb so I can edit this crazy rich fuel table.

All I'm waiting on is some more heat shrink tubing and then I can finish up my adapter harness so I can try this out and send some money your way. You've discovered some new tables lately. What are the future features we can expect or is that going to be a surprise? I think it's really cool and I wish I could help.

I don't want to start hype which is why I haven't been posting much about what I'm working on. I have a goal and some projects and if I figure it out, it'll be released. That's all.

So how do we log ''air mass/grams per cyl." through evoscan. Need to know what I am comparing when I go to tune the fuel maps when it's rpm vs. g/cyl.

I thought I had added that to evoscan already....

If not, I'll post setup instructions tonight.

I kept having that problem with my LC1 setup. I finally gave up and found other ways to log it.
