Just wanted to add because somebody wanted to know how fast DR750s spool. In 2nd on a roll under 40mph, I hit 1.5 bar putting the pedal halfway down around 3500-3700rpms before it hit 6500rpms and the rear tires spun. I dont have methanol installed yet or my bigger sidemounts so when i was in third i was more conservative, but after 3000rpms, the boost rises so fast I could not let off before 15psi came up watching the gauge. I actually had to look at the EBC reading to see what it was. Its nothing like my old school DR650s. DR750s are very good turbos--

Started it up tonight. Timing is too far advanced, you can tell the starter is pissed. I ran it until it hit full temp and shut it down. I drained the oil later and it is clean. I'm going to cut the filter open tomorrow.

Quite a few little things to tidy up, but I'm glad it runs. No smoke at all from the exhaust.

oh yeah that tool I grabbed was a 1/2" extension I used to tension the power steering pulley. I was really lucky that guy stayed put! Could've been a disaster if that got caught up in the belts and took out the timing belt.

Close call on that wrench next to the timing belt cover! Sounds good, congrats! I forget how much stuff a stock engine bay is crammed with, what a pain in the ass to work on with all that stuff in there!

Nice to see it running. Good job on protecting the paint. I'm never that cautious.

Like the crash bar. Much better than hacking away at the stock one I think.

I'm always forgetting something laying under the hood. I think I lost a 12mm socket yesterday, lol. For the PS tensioner I find a breaker bar works better.

wow, just went out for a ride. I'm sure its a combination of the ported heads, cam gears, and the turbos, but these turbos are unreal. I'm giving the car like 20-25% throttle, trying not too break it in too hard and it is already taking off like a bat out of hell.

Love the southbend ofe stage 4 clutch too. It is grabby, but has no chatter, and is still easy to slip. Just taking a bit of getting used to because it has so much grip.

Brakes need more bleeding, clutch needs adjusting, and it doesn't always want to idle when coming down from higher rpms, but really happy with everything so far. The transmission seems to shift fine so far, but I haven't worked it hard yet. Still no smoke and it has good oil pressure.

This is the only round of mods I've ever actually been impressed with. With these turbos it is instant insanity constant, I'm trying to not to break the car in too hard, but it is almost impossible to not go fast with these. These spool MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than my old setup.

Sounds like it'll be a fun ride. I should give the DR-750s a shot before deciding on something bigger.
