An adapter harness with an OBDII connector wired in. Tactrix 2 cable, laptop, evoscan 2.6. I think that's mainly it but I might be forgetting something.

    Awesome, thanks for the response.
Is there anyone making adapter harnesses? I'm sure its more than just cutting and splicing a few wires.
Anyone have a link for the conversion from 1g?

Brett (99vr4) was making them. I can point him this way. I think he has been real busy though so it might take him a few days.

Mitsubishi puts hours into research on there drivability. Can you make an AEM feel mostly stock? yes, but there is always something small to adjust. For example, the iac can be controlled by the aem but it dosent know how it far open or closed it is. It adjust the iac blindly. So I'd like the simplicity of a 98/99 ecu. Just preference, I'm picky.
What in the world are you talking about? It adjusts the IAC blindly...?

My car is a daily-driven 3.1L 16G setup with a full interior that can run anything from 87 octane to E85. I let my girlfriend drive it. Is that a "full race car"? Do you think I could have pulled that off on a flashed ECU?

C'mon people. I'm not even saying the AEM is better, just a completely different world. The AEM has peak and hold drivers, individual coil drivers, sensor inputs, switch inputs, pulse-width modulators, low- and high-side drivers, secondary injector control, launch control, multiple rev limiters, built-in internal logging, yada yada yada... all of which is programmable. And that's JUST the hardware. Let's not even mention AEMTuner, AEMLog, etc.

I have my fuel cut set at 1.438 g/cyl or 230 load. I have not hit it yet with 13t's, as I'm only running 14psi and usually max out around 1.2 g/cyl or 180ish load.

So, you are seeing 1.2g/cyl at 14psi on 13T's and the stock ECU can handle 2g/cyl...damn, doesnt stand a chance on my car :/
