easy to defeat that. Just run your arc2 as well. Get the stock ecu near fuel cut and then run the right size injectors to compensate enough with the arc2 to keep the load under fuel cut. At least the correction factory won't be nearly as bad then.

I'm planning on keeping my piggybacks for a while. The nice thing is I can iron out the tune on the fly with the emanage and modify the rom appropriately until the emanage is zeroed out.

Thank you. With that info I'll probably shoot for around 250 to start. I like the fact that if I have an overboost condition I'll hit fuel cut like stock.

I don't know much about the address locations for the 3s code. But, what needs to be done is instead of raising the compare value to the maximum in the code, change the test, and branch to no operation codes. This removes the fuel cut function from the code.

Just an FYI 2g/s at 6800rpm is equal to 772 crank horsepower. And if I understand it correctly you can rescale the axis to whatever you want...

Yes, the bit for the fuel cut test can be disabled. ...but why?

Right now the 2byte limitation is 319 engine load or 2 g/sec which is more airflow than what 98% of the people on the forums will ever see. I know how to double this but don't have a car to test it with so that's why it wasn't included in this patch. Not even Nelson could max the stock ecu with the 2x fuel cut patch.

I know it's not an issue for most users. I just wanted to let people know that at a certain airflow the stock ecu is not no longer useful, and a standalone system isn't required just to measure high airflow. People have made 1,000+ horsepower on dsm ecu's.

Are the table you converted from load to air mass per cylinder an equation or is it more complicated than that?

It's simpler than that. The hex number the ecu uses is the exact same. It's the scaling for the ECUFlash definition that changes.

Gatecrasher/Jeff was the one that figured that out. Toss him some donation $$ for that.
