I can't decide what I'll do with my free time tonight. I guess I can install my driveshaft and take the VR4 for a spin

Who else won't be watching? This will be the first I've missed since '04.

My wife and I will be watching, but she (an Alabama graduate) has admitted that she is not pumped for the game like she was for the MNC two years ago, but said it has more to do with real-life distractions (twins imminent, graduate school challenges) than being unenthusiastic about a rematch.

I know I said awhile ago that it might be the lowest-rated MNC game of all time, but upon further reflection that may not be the case as I'm sure people will watch just to make sure Alabama loses so they can point and say, "Told ya so!"

Won't be watching . . . little workout and a run if this weather subsides. Chores around the house, too. All these sound more exciting than 9-6 V2.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

I can almost guarantee you that those of us that aren't watching / are disgusted by the rematch are rooting for Alabama. Alabama getting waxed @ (essentially) LSU doesn't do anything other than anger the rest of the country (even more). I want the SEC angry. I want LSU pissed off that they had to replay this game.

But I'm sure the AP will give LSU a title even if Alabama wins. I've read that a lot of AP voters have already sent in their final ballots. TWO championships for the SEC this year!

I'll watch because I've got nothing else to do. And yes I'm rooting for 'Bama, just to continue to throw monkey wrenches into the BCS.

Take the wifey out to dinner or something, J

Total farce though. OSU got F'ed PURELY because they're not Oklahoma or Texas. Of course, OSU hardly helped their cause with that lucky win over Stanford and K-State came out flat in the only B12-SEC match-up of the bowl season. K-State's a team that's toughest to beat in the middle of the season when their physicality wears you down. The key has and will always be to put them in an early hole and Arky did exactly that thanks to K-State's receivers leaving their hands at the hotel... So many key dropped balls. At least they made it a game until they missed that FG with ~6 mins to go.

I'm so turned off by the rematch that I don't even care who wins. Though life will be better amongst my friends and my office if LSU wins, lots of Tigers around here . . .
