    Interesting factoid:

Auburn has the same number of BCS bowl wins as the entire ACC, ever.

VTech is the new OU? .....OU is 3-5 over all (1-5 in the last 6... UConn...)

3-0 in BCS bowls, baby! Still in awe, what a dominant performance.

Here's a fun stat. In WVU's three BCS wins they scored a total of 156 points. The total of the last three ACC representatives is a whopping 65 points. In fact, if you tally up the point totals of the last EIGHT ACC representatives, it equals exactly 156 points.

Also, it appears we are going to lose our DC, Jeff Casteel. There's been no official announcement, but it looks like he is going to Arizona with Rich Fraudriguez. We will be bringing in Brian Stewart, from Houston. He resigned his DC position there, yesterday, and he's a buddy of Holgorsen. So, no more 3-3-5 stack, we'll be running a 3-4. Sad stuff, I love Jeff Casteel.

So you mean Texas may have to score some points to beat you?

Our D is expected to be even better next season since our totally green secondary now has a full season under it's belt. I suspect we'll be very difficult to throw against and even though we lose strength up the middle losing our best DT and 2 best LB's, we've got depth at both positions so we shouldn't lose much when it comes to run stuffing.

What are your expectations on O @ WV?

I anticipate our offense to be absolutely prolific, next year. With Geno, Tavon, and Stedman being legit Heisman contenders(especially Geno and Tavon). The defense will be decent, basically a repeat of this year. We're losing a lot there, again. Brian Stewart (if that happens) is supposed to be a spectacular recruiter.

Most of WVU's offense returns next season. With Geno having the entire offseason to learn more of Holgorsen's offense, I'd say the O has some pretty high expectations.

Awesome. Can't wait to see you tearing up what should be a slightly down (winnable! ) B12. I think the champion will come from OU/Texas/TCU/WVU since OSU and Baylor lose so much.

LOL. I'd say fuck your league back, but WVU already did.

Talk about hypocrisy! Your University spent the last year doing anything they possibly could to either jump ship and abandon the Big East to certain failure, or force everyone else to stay in the Big East too. In the end, they shot themselves in the foot with all their machinations, getting admission to the Big 12, but ending up [probably] stuck for another year or two in the Big East. Now you want to complain about VT's move in 2003? That's almost as preposterous as West Virginians claiming Southern Pride.

You are no longer allowed to blame us for jumping ship to the better league, as you did the same when given the opportunity. And yes, by every meaningful statistic, the ACC is a far better league. Of course, everyone would like bowl wins, but money, TV deals and long term stability are the only things that actually matter to a league. If you guys didn't agree that the Big East is doomed, you wouldn't have abandoned your compatriots, Cinci, USF, and Louisville to what will surely become C-USA 2.0.

I guarantee WVU is in the Big 12 next year. GUARANTEE. The Big East is the one shooting themselves in the foot by trying to force WVU to stay.

And the ACC is only MARGINALLY better than the current Big East at best. To think otherwise is just ludicrous.
