Called up Jester's Dread to ask if he knew and he had the best idea. Turn it on. haha So, yes the way I have it in the picture is correct.

John, I had to cut this also.
I stapled a piece of thin cardboard to a piece of wood and drilled a hole for the peg so I had a good flat surface to cut.

Also when I glued it I held the LCD with a vice then put a little dab of super glue in a four corners of the screen (black metal part). Then I could carefully put the tack down onto the screen. You can make sure and get it straight that way.

Looks great Paul!
Where are you guys getting spare gauge faces to cut up? I checked ASA and the tach is $259![]()
Yes the orientation is correct. I powered mine on before installing it on the vehicle to make sure my installation was good.
I picked up a whole cluster for $40 on ebay. Cheap source. I believe both the non-turbo and turbo models use the same RPM gauge.
My kitchen table when pulled from each end, made a gap in the center -- this allowed me to put the rpm face gauge down with the part that is sticking out into the gap. No special tools.![]()
