Having done volunteer work with people who are mentally retarded, or suffer from other serious psychological conditions, I have to say, the last thing you want is to give them a gun. Someone with Down syndrome, or other global cognitive deficiencies, may look like an adult, but they're no more capable than a child...someone who has schitzoid tendencies would be even worse. CCW would never be a good idea in this situation.

Glad to hear it. Honestly, I don't want to come off as a shoot first ask later gun nut. But drawing a firearm and protecting yourself or someone else in this instance is well within the realms of the law. More than anything, I'd like to see everyone one of these taken to justice and then some. You're not a badass for knocking a defenseless woman out.

Its fucked up.. I would like to hand cuff that guy and hit him all the while saying... How do you like it huh huh?. I know it wouldn't make me any better but its messed up.
I believe that everyone has the right to defend some one in the name of justice. Even if I wouldn't have had a gun, I still wouldn't have stood there and watched that. Shit I would have been grabbing anything and everything I had and swing it at that jackass. ( I am not a big guy).

1) i hate when people complain about racism as in whites towards blacks, because i think it is absolutely (at minimum) equally as prominent the other way around. i truly believe if she were black they would have left her alone.

2) i think these individuals are complete and utter trash. that guy at the end especially. just wannabe "hard" thugs who think they can rule the world through violence.

i am curious as to why a mentally handicapped lady (according to the text above the video) was wandering around there though?

I believe there is far more racism from the black community towards those who are educated and well-to-do, which happen to be mostly white. Not sure why this is but from my observations (living only 20 minutes from Flint, MI) this is how it is. These days IMO the white community has moved past this type of violent racism.
