those were all in response to other posts. I suggest you go have a talk with the other people who started this. Get off my case as well. Don't like what I post? Ignore me. Get over yourself.

He said the C5/C6 isn't viewed as collectible. OHMYGOD!

Rather than proving him wrong, there's been a back and forth exchange with basically no useful information whatsoever.

I converse with Todd a great deal on this forum, often in disagreement with him. I'm talking with the person I think started this right now

He also said the c5 had fixed headlights. Does that mean I should prove everything to him? Its a dumb ignorant statement....and for that he got one back. Next.

He also said the car was worthless. OHMYGOD!

Did I start this thread and ask him for his statement on how he views Corvettes? No. No need to post what he did unless he was looking for a fight. So, really, he started this. I don't care if you've disagreed with him in the past....What difference does that make to me?

Oh lord! He said they weren't as collectible as previous models. See below:

Whether this is due to other manufacturers coming out with sports cars of their own that are more appealing, or just my observances in my geographical area only... The C5/6 models aren't looked at as collectible, at all. I remember when I was looking to buy my very first Stealth TT, back in 1995, I had 17k to spend. I could afford a 300hp, 1991 Stealth TT, for about 15-16k, or I could get a 86-87 Corvette with far less horsepower and dated looks. However, that was the going rate... they were all viewed as collectible.

If you want a Vette in the future, you won't have a problem finding one for sale if you decide to go that route again.
You then reverted to challenging him to a race with Sean's car. Seems mature.

Or a trivial brain fart. It proves little to nothing about his knowledge (or lack thereof) about corvettes.

The word "worthless" has been used 3 times in this thread by 1 person... guess who.

You began this thread with a sad face and the point I took from his post was, 'look on the bright side, you can replace it in the future.' You sure you weren't looking for a fight?

LOL, excuse me for responding to your point.

I mentioned that to indicate that I wouldn't blindly support Todd. I mean shit, I've had both of you on my ignore list in the past. I'm a mo-fuckin' neutral party.

I never once attacked anyones car btw.
Actually I didn't. I referred to BOTH the C5 and C6, and all the reasons why Corvette purists did not like the direction the GM design team was taking. You then tried to talk solely about the C5. And yes, you attacked MY car, which you know nothing about. (Believe me, I'm not losing to a BPU C5 Vette unless I start in 2nd gear.) As far as looks go, do you really think you're going to win that argument here? I suggest you let this *whatever this is* go. If I wanted to call the C5 worthless, that would be my exact words. THE C5 AND C6 ARE NOT VIEWED AS COLLECTIBLE BY CORVETTE ENTHUSIASTS. What is so hard for you to understand about that? Hell, the C4 is a collectible in a LOT of ways. The ZR1, the 40th Anniversary, the LT4/5 engine cars, the Grand Sport, the 96 Collectors edition... But, according to you, the C4 is the LEAST collectible.

You were saying something that you know more about Vettes than I do?

Here's an article since you wanted one. According to this article, the 2001 (c5) Z06 is one of the most collectable cars over the last 25 years

The 25 Most Collectible Cars of the Last 25 Years - Consumer Guide Automotive

But you know it all, right?
