I saw a buddy do that in real time before. Glass double doors to a bowling alley. They were frameless doors and a bunch of us were talking and laughing as we approached them. He must have missed the door handles floating in mid-air cause he walked right into the left door and shattered it. About 30-50 little nicks on his face and arms.

Went to the same bowling alley several weeks later, they had the glass door replaced and now there was a nice wide bar across the center of the doors for the unobservant to see.
