Pulled everything out of the Spyder for the black interior swap from the 98 all the way down to the carpet.

It's amazing how much of a difference the black makes. I did it on the VR4 also and even used a dark headliner from a stealth. (I believe only the stealth had the dark headliner. 3000gt had tan only?). I miss that car.

Not sure yet what I will do with he charcoal headliner on the Spyder. I'm not a fan of painting plastic. Hard to get it to look right. Ideas?

painting the plastic pieces isn't all that hard. I just use TSP to clean the surface, then spray multiple light, then medium coats. If you can, buy a low-gloss black paint, for a "stock look" finish.

Make sure the interior paint can handle temperatures from the sun, so it won't flake/crack.

I'll take the charcoal headliner off your hands. *winkwink*

I'm looking to do a total tan -> black swap for my project. Finding true black interior is almost impossible, it seems. =/

Oh, right.. I did nothing with my car.. Seeing as how I live in New York, where the weather always totally blows.

I looked at it sitting behind the garage as I pulled around to my driveway. I thought about starting it.
