You are a machine dude. Does grinding down the piston throw off the balance of everything or is it not much material? I didn't see it but what piston/rods are you using now a days? Also, how does that crank compare to the BC 3.4 crank?

    Either way, it's looking good!

the amount needed to grind off the pistons wont throw it off since its a few thousandths of an inch of aluminum in a small area. this crank is more stroke and made in the USA and is a billet

the crank is not cross drilled. they stopped cross drilling race cranks quite a few years back

Shut, the, fuck, up. You have no idea what you are talking about. Plain and fucking simple. Do not come into a legendary members thread, who has built, and owned some of the fastest 3/S's in the world, and muck it up with your bullshit that has netted you a 15s junkyard mobile that blows up 5 times a year.

Epic build Ray. I forget are you going to NG this year?

That's right, it's called "residual oiling"

ill post one time to this. then, if you want to debate on it you can start a thread on it

cross drilling was the hot topic in the 90s. all the drag race crank companies were doing it. they later found that air was getting pulled in the "inner" oil hole on the rod throw. most engines still would live but better oiling was attained by not cross drilling. over time things change.

mitsu also made the change back agiain with the 75 crank which is running in many cars including Itallo Grassos 1000whp car that i tuned. Matt M has a crank just like this that i sold him that he runs 8s with. sooo... yes i will just fire it up. hopefully today
