I took a year of Ninjitsu, and it is one of my favorite martial art styles. I had to go to college though, so I quit. I may pick it up again. There is a Ninjitsu school on the way to work .

I can teach you jeffjitsu. It consists of playing video games all week after work, drinking beer on the weekends & still getting laid on almost a semi-regular basis.

i always get a kick out of someone saying they practice ninjitsu. it's such a disorganized mish-mash of a lot of different stuff (martial arts is only a piece of it). which means, you don't have a clue as to what a person actually knows. to me, that makes it the perfect BS martial art, because it's not like anyone can call your bluff. completely the opposite of something like shotokan karate or even something like hapkido or aikido.

The mish-mash is what I liked about it. I took TKD for nearly 9 years and didn't like them as much. They seemed too "organized." I only took a year of Ninjitsu, and it was actually fun. But I suppose martial arts isn't exactly suppose to be fun. Most of the things I learned i had already learned in TKD, but I did learn how to Ninja roll though... .

One of my friends took aikido instead of TKD when he was younger too. I would probably put my kids through aikido or hapkido instead of TKD.

Heres a pic for the thread.
