Because a bum has a brain. A fetus does not. You seem to be imagining all abortion to be like this PDF. These were crimes he committed, and horrible ones at that. What he did was murder, not abortion. Don't confuse the two.

We shouldn't, but society does what it needs to to survive. Am I to assume that you picket ant poison and weed killer companies in your spare time? No. You don't. If there is ants in your kitchen, you kill them. If there is weeds in your yard or your garden, you pull them up. Why? Because that's your yard and your kitchen. Nobody has the right to tell you what to do with it.
