mine's probably going to end up looking a lot like the first one, only without green/orange accents. oh, and a LOT of clear coat.

It is definitely not the paint scheme that is keeping the car from selling. If you have the $ to maintain and race a drag car like that, you have the $ to repaint it to whatever you want. I think the problem is that nobody has the $ in the first place.

I disagree. I beleive that people feel if they are going to drop that kind of coin on a car then it may as well look like they want it to. They could just watch Ebay and get the same car in a normal color scheme for the same price and not have to buy this thing and drop another $5000 on fixing the ugly paint.

i could care less about looks when i buy a car. if that camaro was bright pink with a hello kitty picture on it but ran a 9.5 and i could afford it ill buy it. everyone could laugh all they want at the stop lights, i would be the one laughing when it lifts the front tires as the light turns green. plus paint is cheep so you could always get it repainted later.

Im also not a fan of the maroonish red color 3s’s, but that color wouldn’t keep me from buying one.

this sounds like precisely the thought behind the "wolly mammoth" of "pinks" fame.

...not to mention that if you ever put it in the wall (break an axle, etc) you'll have to get it repainted anyway.
