Put it in your sig or under your screenname if it's that important. Here I'll start.

I really dont care and have no opinions in life...

I know I am not going to win any popularity contest for saying this, but a join date is nothing more than a status symbol, and if all you Star Bellied Sneetches want to keep your stars, feel free... The bottom line is that a join date does not make any guy more knowledgeable than another, it just guarantees he has read a LOT more information. He might be more knowledgeable, but that should not be determined by the date he joined a forum. If someone feels like he needs a specific join date to feel more secure about his position in the "community" it doesn't bother me one bit. You guys all seem like stand up guys, and I am happy to be here and be able to ask for help and offer help any time I can help... If a guy helps me and is a great guy I will respect him no matter what date he has. There are a handful of guys on here that I look forward to getting to know better because they know a LOT, and it shows. Stealthee is an example of someone I have noticed but never really had a chance to talk with about anything, and there are more who I can't think of off top of my head who helped me a few times and I hope to get to know them better too, but it has nothing to do with any join date.
EDIT: "it just guarantees he has read a LOT more information." I am correcting this statement, it's actually not even true... LOL

HAHA Star bellied Sneetches
Good one.
Why are you so insecure? A "newb" on 3si could know way more than you... but either way, everything I said in my previous post is true about the join date being nothing more than a status symbol. The date you joined a forum makes you no better than any other forum user. As much as we ALL want to feel important, if you need to come and log in here to feel that importance then you are hiding some issues, LOL... and as far as the respect goes, we should all earn that respect and offer it to others unless a user does not deserve said respect because of something he has posted. I know that we all don't think like that, but we are all different in a lot of ways.
Yeah whateva.
1997 3000GT VR4 - Solano Black Pearl - E85 - E316G-BIG - All the boost
1993 3000GT VR4 - Maroon/Blacktop - Back to stock/Restoration
1994 Stealth R/T - Primer - Parts store
your name should say it all... not a little date next to your name.
I mean if you want props get a reputation meter. Its much better than a join date.
new site new date, I have been a on a couple different forums with different dates, just as long as your username is the same or your sig is the same everyone will know who is who
I'm indifferent. I don't really care one way or the other. I would rather have my buyer/seller feedback.
I feel this thread might be heading in a different direction than anticipated. I could care less about status symbols. This thread is hypothetical in its origin. I can and would argue both sides because both are viable reasons/options. With that said i find myself leaning toward posting up either your "first time using any 3s forum ", or when you purchased your first 3s. I only say this because people come and go here all the time and i would hate to disrespect someone who doesnt use the forums as often as others, but yet has a solid background. I also remember when i was a noob and had no idea who to listen to. Granted join date doesnt mean you know squat, just that you have been around the block.
