Sawzaw makes quick work of them.

I LOVE my OhioSpyderman STS! Bob did an excellent job when making them. I was expecting way more people to have them though...

    Thanks!!!

Unfortunately my partner got fired in the midst of our STS stint (it had nothing to do with the shifters). He took the drawings and welding jig and has them to this day. I've been asked to try and contact him, but have been a bit reluctant (the last time we spoke he wasn't interested in making the shifters for LESS than we had in the past, and I tried to tell him with the influx of new designs, we would HAVE to.....

Ask for the drawings, jigs and make then yourself or get someone else to do it.

I don't think Tim would "give" them to me (he's realizes what he has...). FYI, he and I did the design together, and then he became production and I was sales and marketing. It was a nice mix and we worked well together...until he was no longer working at the same place I was....

I have no desire to become production (he has a shop like no other, and I have a full 2 car garage....)

If someone wants to throw out a figure to become the new owner of the drawings and jig, I'll give him a call....

I'd say somebody might buy them for the right price. I've never used one but I have heard nothing but good things.

Ohio, is there a way I can obtain one of these shifters?

    From the other site.

The feel, the throw, the build quality, and everything else about it is awesome. The bearings in it make shifting a breeze. There is almost no added effort to shift. If I had to recommend a STS this would be it.

Stock vs. Ultimate Performance (yeah its missing the bottom piece(thats what broke), and the threads at the top) vs. Seattle Short Throw.

Stock throw from 3rd-4th, and stock knob height.

Funny thing.. I started reading this thread and for the life of me could not remember where I purchased mine until Bob posted and refreshed my memory. I think I have had it since around 2003 and it has worked great the whole time!

honestly, i think one of our long-time vendors should pony-up for the design. it would be great to have supercar, 3sx, dynamic, IPS, Maximal, etc selling the OSM STS's again. even if it was going to cost a bit more than other designs, you pay for what you get. i don't know of anyone, anywhere who claims there's a better STS than OSM's. drawing a comparison between seattle's & OSM's is like drawing a comparison between 19t's & DR750's, imho.

no personal experiences here; just what i've gathered from being in the community 7 years and seeing the feedback from countless members.
