I'm over it. When it comes to the one sole purpose of the shifter - you know, actually making clean, accurate shifts - give me the stocker any day. After getting fed up with missed 2->3s I went back to stock and haven't had a problem. Anyone want to buy a short-throw?

    This is from my experience
ultimate performance gated shifter that was a major shit sometimes I couldnt shift (not really a short shifter )!
generic short shifter after hours of trying align it up I´m not happy 2-3 shifts are the worst

    back to stock happy again

I love my short shifter, don't know what kind it is but it was the very first thing I did to this car.

I'd say short shifters are the best way to start off modding any car.

You probably have a similar model that I have. I noticed that the peg that goes between the spring sat too low and was too small (diameter), and really wasn't applying any force on the shifter to aid the 2>3 shift. I cut the peg off and welded a thicker piece in the correct location which fixed the 2>3 shift, but I still don't like the ammount of effort required to get into a gear. I'm planning to go back to stock.
