Hi, I learned about this forum from over at 3si. I don't have the history with 3si that many of you did, but I like knowing that a lot of posters I respect are now here.

My first experience with these cars was a 98 3000gt base. Then we came across a good deal on a 95 VR4, and added it to the stable too. Bad news though, rod knock started on the VR4, so I'll be doing an engine swap in coming weeks. I'll be searching the forum for info as I go, and may need to ask some questions, so thank-you in advance.

I really like the look of the forum, too.

My Name is Christian. I have a 91 3KGT VR4. Long time user of 3SI and stumbled on this somehow. I have been out of the forums for a while as I rebuild a Jetta. Not sure what happened in the last year on 3SI but look forward to using two forums now.

Hello, Shawn from Central PA. Have had a 97 3000gt base for a few years now. Sadly it has sat for about 2 years. Came back to the site to see if I should sell it or keep it... It is worth under 2k if I sell, but on the other hand it needs much work, probably 2-3k (tires, transmission might be going, and a bunch of odds and ends).
