Hopefully not too political. This is next to a mom's demand action for something gun related. IDK, I've always found it interesting that being a "mom" gives you a special insight into social issues.

Precisely. Just like being a "celeb" makes your opinion somehow matter more. Or being a "professor" somehow makes your opinion more correct. Etc. That's reason #1 why I refuse to identify myself with my station in life. (Reason #2 being I don't want the terrorists knowing who/what I am, what I do, and where my family/friends live). If my opinions/arguments/conjecture have merits, they shouldn't have to hide behind a veil of presumed importance by virtue of any arbitrary social/professional standing.

I to have terrorists tirelessly searching for me, my friends, and family. A simple tin foil hat can block a majority of their signals.
