as if I didn't need another reason to never get married. I thought the story was awesome and the acting was spot on. the broad that played Alfeck's sister was particularly good imo.

You might as well say Keanu Reeves is awesome because you liked the Matrix. Or that Nicholas Cage is a fantastic actor because of Leaving Las Vegas (nevermind Ghostrider & Bangkok Dangerous). Or Cuba Gooding Jr. is the greatest actor of all time because you liked him in Jerry Maguire.

Keanu and Nick are basically the same guy in different situations in every movie. while Cuba is the palatable black guy for suburban white folks to root for. personally I like most of Bale's movies though I haven't seen much outside of the Batmans and AP. I will let this slide as I do recall you mentioning that AVP did not suck in just about every way a movies can. that whole "T" for tough thing in the cave with the Predator and the black female mountain climber(I don't know what is more far fetched. that or intergalactic big game hunting aliens.) was not the cheesiest thing I have seen in my entire life outside of an actual cheese factory in Wisconson.

pretty much this. I went home and watched AVP just to try and make myself believe that was not the worst thing I've seen in my life.

If you have watched all the Batman movies though, you realize that Bale is only potentially better than George Clooney. His Bruce Wayne is decent, but his Batman is HORRIBLE. And seeing him to the same character in Terminator Salvation sealed my opinion. As much as I dislike Ben Affleck, I'm actually not sure if he's going to suck more.
