I work with a guy, who while is a generally good guy, is a bit of a nutbag. He thinks the fast food workers are justified in wanting $15 an hour because "They need to support their families and the corporations are making money off of them."

I looked at him and said, "They are unskilled workers whose positions can be filled by teenagers. The work we do requires 10 times the skill that a fast food worker possesses. We don't even make $15 an hour and we have lives to live and people to support."

He just looked at me and was like, "Well yeah, but..."

$15/hr for a cook in a fast food joint is ludicrous. It is a job for teenagers. If you're 30 years old and flipping burgers demanding a raise, you should probably reevaluate your life and find something else. There are countless other jobs that require basically no background skills that'll pay more.

You and I both know this. What's sad is the people who think there will be no repercussions of a drastic increase to $15 an hour.

Yep. I've used those a couple times already (they looked different though). The ones I've used are large vertical touch screens that always get my order right.
