I'd like to hear more about this. Seems like there is something missing. I just can't believe they could put somebody in jail for paying too much. If all this is true then the judge should be put in jail and the mother should loose custody, obviously she isn’t setting a good example for her son.

The only thing missing is the truth that the judge and his son's Mom are assholes. Went through a lot of this growing up. The crap that my Mom and the judge did to my Dad that was so fucked up financially is just staggering. The amount of money that IMO was STOLEN from him and my sister and I all from a judge decree was ridiculous. That news story was very sad and I hope that father gets everything worked out and he does not go to jail. But shit like this happens a lot. Money will make people do fucked up things.

really? ^ you mean like vote for a president without any qualifications or job skills, simply because they are under the impression that he will be giving out handouts to everyone?

Oh I've seen it a lot also but if he didn't know she changed the conditions it would seem he could sue the shit out of the judge for putting him away. I hope this story gets a lot of attention.

in today's juducial system unless you have a prenump as a man you are screwed in the event of a divorce. sorry but losing everything I've worked for is not worth signing a "best friends for ever" contract with someone.

No, no, no. He was jailed for contempt of court. That's what the video says, and the article I linked, as well. That contempt being that he did not abide by the new decree that stated he was to pay less money, and less visitation. BEYOND THAT, the bitch also wants $3,000 for having to take him to court for violation of that decree. There is no plausible reason, based on what has been stated, for her doing this other than she is simply trying to keep him out of his own sons life. What woman petitions for LESS money, and LESS visitation? As they say on MNF...C'mon man.

Last November, his child support payments were paid in full. Sometime between then and now, the child support agreement between Hall and his wife was modified without his knowledge. Hall wound up overpaying by $3,000, a fact that Harris County District Court Judge Lisa Millard found contemptible.

Another term that was modified without his knowledge was his visitation schedule. Subsequently, Hall was found to have over-visited his son.

Judge Millard ended up finding Hall in contempt of court.

In addition to the six month jail sentence, Judge Millard is forcing Hall to pay his ex-wife’s attorney fees.
