Nope. I'm hoping after this cleaning that the crystal bags will help keep the inside dehumidified enough. Gonna try the dome too.

That reminds me, I meant to post a picture of my seat bracket to see if I had the correct one or not. Got side tracked when I found this...

I know evaporators can get mildew especially if the drain tube is clogged. They even sell a spay can to eliminate the mold. Perhaps yours is moldy and spreading throughout the car?

Nah. The roof of the garage leaked badly and was recently repaired. With no windows and the door staying shut all the time, this caused the high humidity levels inside.

The humid air probably got into the car and caused this.

What's nice about these packs is that you can reactivate them in the oven once they're completely saturated (takes ~4 hrs. to so it).

I slacked on reactivating them within the last two months, so I was greeted by a couple of small patches of that stuff the last time I was in there.

You might want to be on the lookout for rodents, too, since your car's been sitting for some time.

I stripped out my interior because a couple of them managed to find a passage into the car & messed up my hatch area...little bastards!

Well then I guess you answered your own question, a dehumidifier seems like the solution here.

Yes! I don't know what Mitsubishi puts in their wiring, but rats and mice find it irresistible.... Currently tearing down my dash, to remove an old nest I discovered. Hopefully, the harness isn't completely hosed...
