Rural highways are almost all 70mph....65 in cities. Give or take depending on local laws.

Most PA roads are 55, which sucks. I got a speeding ticket for 71 in a 55 a couple of weeks ago, so they do enforce them.

    Depends entirely on the state/county/city.
Highway? Freeway? 2 lane country road? Are there traffic lights on the road?

Rule of thumb is... 10% over is about as fast as you want to go without getting pulled over.

There is a toll road in Texas that's in the works (or may be done) that's 85. Although Texas is fairly flat for the most part.

Here in Kansas the interstate highways are 75mph once you're out of the city, typically 65 in the city. Toll roads are basically go as fast as you want. Roads in the city vary of course, 20-40.

Five over is normally what I'll do on the highways.

There's a long stretch of I-10 in Texas between El Paso and San Antonio that's 80 mph. Most interstate freeways outside of big cities are 70-75 mph. There used to be no speed limit on interstate highways in Montana, but they stopped that for some reason.

It was a court case from like a year after they went to no speed limit. Guy driving a Camaro got a ticket for doing 85. Court ruled that a speed limit that is "reasonable and prudent" is too vague to enforce and infringes due process.

Nevada is 75 on main interstates. Goes down to 65 in the larger cities though. 505 in Cali is 70. Utah has a section that is 80 which is fun. Oregon is a terrible 55 everywhere.
