Rural highways are almost all 70mph....65 in cities. Give or take depending on local laws.

Most PA roads are 55, which sucks. I got a speeding ticket for 71 in a 55 a couple of weeks ago, so they do enforce them.

PA is stupid. I travel Route 119 to go to WV. The road leading to the border is 35 mph in PA. As soon as you cross the border into WV it jumps to 55 and it is a rural 2 lane curvy road. Roads that should be 50 are 35, and roads that should be 35 or 40 are 25.

    Depends entirely on the state/county/city.
Highway? Freeway? 2 lane country road? Are there traffic lights on the road?

Rule of thumb is... 10% over is about as fast as you want to go without getting pulled over.

There is a toll road in Texas that's in the works (or may be done) that's 85. Although Texas is fairly flat for the most part.

Here in Kansas the interstate highways are 75mph once you're out of the city, typically 65 in the city. Toll roads are basically go as fast as you want. Roads in the city vary of course, 20-40.

Five over is normally what I'll do on the highways.

I-70 is patrolled here heavily at least headed west to Manhattan or Ft Riley or East to Lawrence. At least going to Lawrence every day I know where the highway patrol likes to sit. I usually stay at 75-80 the whole time anyways since I'm already reved up halfway on my rpms and it drops my mileage going faster. I get about 42-43 and if I slow down to 65 usually around 46-47. I'm more bad about speeding in the city 5-10 over and when I'm in the Stealth spirited driving I'll exceed the posted speed limits quite a bit. Lol.
