Think I'm happier about having a clean, clear windshield more than not having a crack halfway across :P

Looking pretty good Silver. What did you use for terminals? I used bolts and that worked out great.
Also, looks like we're going opposite routes, lol. You're removing fabric, I'm adding it.
My old MTX box had terminals on the back that i used. It comes with a plastic insert that the posts mount to and a gasket to seal it to the box. This is what they look like.

My box had 2 of these (one for each speaker) and they are 4 ohm not 2 ohm. I just used a circle cut bit and cut the exact size for the part of the insert that enters the box, drilled the 4 holes for the screws and bam was done, plus it adds a nice factory look to the box.

Oh and dont mind my ghetto wiring job.. it was getting late and i just wanted to test it out. everything will be relocated and hidden.

Wish you'd been doing this back when I was putting my system together - I'd looked at that sort of configuration, but I'd frankly lost my taste for solving that sort of fitment.

    Nice work, Silver

I worked some more on the upper intake plenum...My thumbs & index fingers are RAW!!!
(BTW: these were older photos from the afternoon)
I can't wait to be done with the sanding part of it!! Only about another 10 hours or so & it should be ready for some buffing.-

Oh, & I also got my HPS silicone radiator hose kit & other heater hoses in today (well, technically yesterday).

    New Battery
    Bath
    Clean inside of windows
Removal of most of the "tree sap"
Start buffing & polishing paint - half of the hood looks ok

May have to find a shop to finish the buffing...
