I think their test is so flawed....

    Why?

Simply because they didn't let the engine run for a long time to build up alot of heat.

Driving hard on the street for an hour or sitting on a dyno stepping on the gas for 30 seconds.... Yeah I'd say that makes a difference...

it really wouldn't make THAT much of a difference on a turbocharged car, imho--especially if your intercooler is fail.

The point of the test was to see if the AIT actually makes more power. Heatsoaking/bay temps is a different issue.

Did they use the same tubing/length of tubing in each test? If they use a nice smooth/short tube for the normal intake and a corrugated/long tube for the cooler air, it isn't really a fair comparison.. (Didn't watch the video)

At stock power, its a given OEM air boxes are sufficient.

I'm pretty sure the power gains from filters/intakes are rated after people open up the other end via exhaust. Also cooler intake temps mean less knock right? Crank up the boost on the skyline and see if you get less knock. Every bit helps.

Not that I think changing filters on a car or cold air intake will net any real gains though.
