Black is ideal since you will likely be constantly turning wrenches on the car for as long as you own it. It is so much easier to keep looking nice since basically nothing shows up on it dirt wise. personally, all engine bays should come black.

We painted Emilie's engine bay pearl white. I'll post up some pics when I get to the office.

Fresh paint cleans up very easily compared to the original white in the engine bay. And the pearl added looks 1000000x's better than that dingy off white its painted from the factory.

That is true, compared to the uncleared stock paint, the new white will be much easier to clean.

I did pearl white with clear in my bay and I love it. Grease just wipes right off.

I love the idea of pearl white easy to clean... what do you think about the rhino liner for the lower part though (black). Just thinking in terms of grease and dirt on hard to access not too visible areas..m great feedback thanks everyone!!

a hose and some soap in the engine bay once in a while, and I don't see it really getting nasty.
