Nature of bit torrent makes it hard to hide. If you can use a free VPN it will hide you pretty good.

Don't think that is possible. You might be able to hide type of traffic, but your ISP can still see amount of traffic, source, destination, etc.

ISP shouldn't pay attention, but anyone connected to a torrents can see IPs. They then contact the ISP to get names. If you go through a VPN, it will hide your IP.

you can proxy, but its not like they can't subpoena the proxy service. But European proxies are harder to get after, but your speeds will suffer greatly.

You can use TOR for web surfing, not sure if its a proxy. Search for proxies in Europe or offshore, many free service stuff.
