Pffft. I heard about Ablett. Pretty sure that ones a done deal. As for Bomber, I don't think he's going to be at Essendon anytime soon. Hird will be there with a few others. (Chocko Williams or Dean Laidley or both)

So Bomber will be joining Jim over at windy hill? As an Essendon supporter I hope this is the case...

Also Ablett should definitely make the switch now, he's accomplished everything at Geelong and now he can get out before the Cats turn to shit.

*EDIT* maybe Hird can play a Captain/Coach type role and put the boots back on haha

I saw on the news today that Thompson had spoken to Geelong and said he was tired and would assess his options at the end of the year AND he was NOT going to Essendon.
