I'd say stat wise, it's most likely VY. To be honest, I really don't give a shit about any of those 6.

Time line? Dollar amount? Are you betting that he'll never start another NFL game? (obviously starting a game in place of an injured 1st string QB wouldn't count)

Interesting comparison. The Dolphins used the 44th overall pick on Pat White (kind of puts the Tannehill pick in perspective, I guess). They gave him basically ONE calendar year before they waived him. WTF? About a year later, Pat White got signed and cut by the Virginia Destroyers in just over 2 months... WTF? Do you have any details on what happened? There's a reason organizations (like the Dolphins for instance) wander through the wilderness for decades...

Josh Freeman - He's not bad. Went a little backwards last year, but not much.
Sam Bradford - Made of glass.
VY - I don't know what went wrong here. The rookie season was legendary.
Colt - Bad system, and now all the teams want 6'2" or better qb's.
Blaine Gabbert - Lots of good receivers recently added. His stats are about to improve tremendously.
RG3 - Will not fail.
Tannehill - Though I think he's overrated, I bet he does very well. Miami is so close to hitting on all cylinders.
Weeden - Same as RG3. And with Richardson in the backfield, he should be able to make things happen. Though it is Cleveland...

I'm saying I don't think he'll ever be "the man", "the face of a franchise", etc. The league is fickle. If you don't make an immediate impact (or get a crazy contract like Bradford) they toss you out like yesterdays trash. Hard to make a come back when there's new talent coming all the time. Viscious shit.

Fins gave up on him after Ike Taylor rung his bell (brutal hit), and had a hard on for Henne (Brilliant..ugggh).

The UFL was 20mil in the hole and everyone was told to go home. Once they cleared it up, he was all the sudden cut. Unfortunately, I do not know the back story. He has the stigma of not being able to pass. Which is far from true. But the old adage of perception is reality applies here. He would have served himself much better if he would've been willing to move to receiver. He's very stubborn on that. It's qb or nothing.

Cleveland Oline squeals like little girls when defensive linemen come after them... wet tissue paper. You honestly would be better off with no Oline. I think they sack their own qb half the time when they fall back on him

I'd like to see Colt get a chance with Richardson behind him. But this is the Browns, they have 0 loyalty. I will say, they were very aggressive in the draft this year. Normally they wait for it to come to them, which is a year in year out fail. They knew what they wanted this year, and took it.

Weeden has the 3 best arm attributes you could ask for. Strength, touch, and accuracy. If they can shore up the left side of the o-line, they'll be on their way.

Who knows? Shit happens. He's a good guy, and still has his chin up. I follow him on FB, he's always willing to talk to anyone, but I'd say football is over for him. *sigh*

Yes. Starting with this season, he gets 5 years to accomplish that. *internet hand shake* Back to the draft, it's pretty unfair to Colt, really, that Holmgren finally puts on his big boy britches and goes commando on the draft.

Aside - tired of people talking about Weeden's age. Kurt Warner, anyone?
